Only downside is that we waited around 60-70 minutes to get in. Because it was already around 10PM and we were tired and hungry, we thought we’d wait and see if what’s inside would make up for the wait time. The atmosphere, the music, the delicious food, amazingly balanced cocktails and the prices made up for it for sure. We would wait again for that incredible experience.
The best dining experience I've ever had. The service, ambiance, music, AND food was so exquisite. It has such a cozy and romantic atmosphere. We had the octopus, jelly fish, sea urchin croquettes, crab croquettes, udon curry, hayashi rice, and to finish it off we had their infamous honey toast for dessert. Wow! Daniel Bennett played well. The server said that it was her favorite band that comes in. We were treated so well. Nothing to complain about. Already anticipating the next trip.
Cozy tiny bar with live jazz music and great food and drinks. There's usually a wait to get in the bar but its all worth it once you're in. They have a relatively wide variety of Japanese bar food from light to heavy and they were delicious. Tried the Curry Rice, Croquettes, and their special omurice; all amazing. Their cocktails were fun and delicious as well. Last, but not least, the live jazz music was the cherry on top that makes this place so popular.
Absolutely loved the vibe here. There's a bit of a wait but it's 100% worth it. We got the cod roe udon and it was amazing!!! Music was also 10/10 and the interior decor on the ceilings is such a nice touch. Overall a beautiful experience - I'd definitely come back!
Thanks to all the staff they were amazing! We didn't wait that long, we were 2 persons around 9pm and in 15 minutes we were sit. Drinks and the Japanese alcohol selection is great. Jazz music really fits the vibe, the aesthetic of the bar is classy old Japanese tavern. Next time I have to taste that dessert with pancake and ice cream it looks great on another table, but sadly for the food that I've tasted I wasn't impressed.
